All the pictures are from the preview pics from the photo cd produced by Eckerd's. We both like shooting film, but its just quicker to get a PhotoCD and upload their pics instead of doing all the scanning and editing.
Anderson is often photographed because its of the many Texas towns that has the main county courthouse located in town, often in a center square, though this one is at the end of Main Street. Its common for people to try and visit and photograph the 200+ county courthouses.
As you can see, I found some Edsels, and another forgotten toilet. Can't explain my attraction. My first toilet find is here in a different little Texas town.
Sylvia had fun shopping at the main antique store and I used my fisheye wide-angle to highlight a few 'collections'.
Anderson is definitely worth a roll of film if you are ever passing by. They have some fall festival where the town has all kind of lights and they pull that horse drawn wagon out of the barn and shuttle people with that while its also all lit up!
